Business Development Representative (BDR)
At byanat, we're on a mission to redefine urban infrastructure through our advanced analytics platform. We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and play a pivotal role in identifying and generating new business opportunities in the telecom and government sectors.
Objectives of this Role:
- Drive lead generation efforts to create a pipeline of potential clients for byanat's solutions.
- Conduct targeted outreach to prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement.
- Qualify leads by assessing their fit with byanat's offerings and their potential for conversion into sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads for further development and closing.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients in the telecom and government sectors, leveraging market insights and industry trends.
- Initiate contact with prospects to introduce Byanat's platform and articulate its value proposition.
- Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline.
- Schedule meetings and presentations between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activities and interactions in the CRM system.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand byanat's presence and visibility.
- Provide regular feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns and suggest improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a business development or lead generation role, preferably in the technology or telecom sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on meeting lead generation targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Strong command of Arabic and English languages, both spoken and written.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience generating enterprise leads in telecom, utilities, or energy sectors for large and sophisticated niche platforms and solutions that utilize big data and analytics.
- Social and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with people and identify and map different stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the infrastructure, telecom, or government sectors.
- Ability to explain and communicate sophisticated solutions for enterprise clients in telecom and utilities sectors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive company culture.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
