Job Description:

We are looking for a talented DevOps Software Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Software Engineer will play a key role in automating and streamlining our software development and operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud technologies, with a passion for implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for our software products.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Configure and manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of code changes.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and production systems.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, system administration, or DevOps roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, specially Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Additional Qualifications (preferred but not required):

• DevOps certifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Previous experience in software development using languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
